Upgrade to Failure Discourse 2.8

Hello,

I tried to upgrade to the latest released version and I'm running into issues. I upgrade the docker-manager and was instructed to use the CLI to update. That's fine, happens once in a while.

After doing a git pull, and running ./launcher rebuild app it fails and I’m not exactly sure where the issue is happening. Here’s my plugin list and logs.

You’ve got these plugins (and more) listed somewhere twice.

I mean, nothing has changed since the last time I installed updated discourse. I do see it cloning the plugins twice but not sure why it would be the case. None of the yml file (and there’s only one app.yml) has any duplicate references to it.

Maybe remove this plugin?

I have a funny feeling that this is not an official install and you are looking at the wrong yml file.

The plugins you mention is not the plugins in the rebuild

@pfaffman I think that was it. I was installing the plugin via GitHub - procourse/procourse-installer: A Discourse plugin for installing other Discourse plugins. which I probably should stop using since it seems like it’s listed under broken plugins. Though it IS so nice to install a plugin without having to SSH into the server, add a line and have to rebuild and restart the entire app.

I think you should remove both procourse installer & retort (use discourse-reactions instead) because both the plugins are not maintained to their best. There is a high chance those could cause issue while rebuilding.
