Currently (08/20/2023) Discourse AI can summarize a topic.
It would be nice to summarize based on some selection criteria such as
- Category
- Timeframe
- Tag
- User
- Most popular posts
- Keyword
- I liked
- Private messages
- Output language
- Persona
For the most part the same as the current advanced search dialog.
The idea came up when trying to answer a user question about creating a marketplace. I started to write a reply but it just kept getting longer and longer and of less of value. What would have been of more value and faster would be to create a prompt to summarize a category from a website but based on just the pain points and the result as a bullet point list.
