Verify users as a moderator?

Hi,

I’m new to meta, but as a user familiar with the software on different forums.
I couldn’t find this specific topic from the search function.

In one forum, I now have Moderator rights.
Problem: We want to mark some users in our forum as “verified”, but it seems that this can only be done by the Administrator.

Is there a possibility for the Administrator to grant me the right to mark users as verified = give them the access to this (fixed) group?

They could make you a group admin, yes.

Then you would be able to add users to the group.

This will work with the group “Verified Customer” as well?

It should work for any custom group.
