I wonder how this is not already asked or I’m missing something. Is there any plugin or a setting (not any that I saw) that allows users to view their entered password to avoid typos?
Like the 
toggle to view and hide the entered password.

@ultrakiller. In the interim, you could also consider adding some CSS or jQuery to do this in your theme.

Previously we haven’t been interested in this feature as we view it as OS / browser specific. What I mean is, this feature is something that should automatically happen on all password fields as delivered through the browser and the operating system.
I personally wouldn’t mind us doing it – we also warn about caps lock being on – but it’s very low on the priority list.
