Watched First Post on locked categories, no email is sent

On the latest version (as of yesterday) and I have a locked category where everyone cannot “see” the post, but a group can. I have set this category to email first posts. However, it isn’t sending the email. Is this an issue? Expected behavior? We would like the members of the group to get the email. Workaround?

Were you active on the forum at the time the new Topic was created? In such a a scenario, emails are not sent.

Yes, I was on it. However, I am not just monitoring it for myself. I have others in the group, who was not online and didn’t receive. There are no logs of it being sent either and no errors from it as well. It simply isn’t sending the emails. :frowning:
