What is 'dynaloc'?

I’m curious, what is ‘dynaloc’ and why the dynaloc tag ? A shot in the dark; is it short for ‘dynamic locales’?

It’s “dynamic (content) localization”

Ah, not too far off .
Thanks!

I wonder if it would be better to use a more descriptive name? IMO something like auto-translate would be much easier to understand at a glance.

When I first read dynaloc, I saw dyn-aloc, which sounds like a memory allocator (like malloc, calloc, realloc, etc.)

That’s fine. Personally I like content-localization to be as verbose as possible (also it’s the feature’s site setting prefix), but dynaloc was the internal tag we adopted.

I’ll let it sit for a bit and maybe we’ll switch things up. Appreciate the feedback!
