Is there a way to quote something that was said on a different Discourse instance?

Is there a way to quote something that was said on a different Discourse instance? I’m guessing no, but thought I’d ask. I know I can manually quote it, but I’d like Discourse to add the link arrows and have the expand functionality that it present in non manual quotes. I’ve tried searching but there’s a lot of noise when you search for anything involving quotes.

In particular, since we are already discussing the combination of various platforms, I think hypothesis is HUGE:

I suppose this can be done in a plugin, but let me explain a bit more. I suppose I misframed this topic by describing it as a onebox question. Yes, a better onebox for hypothes.is would be nice. But I think there is much, much more to be gained for discourse from a closer integration of hypothesis (or supporting Open Annotation more generally).
