When forming a sandbox community, is it possible to remove emailing?

Hello there,

It’s been a long time since I responded, apologies about that. I’ve been looking through some posts and have come across this (Remove email verification) would it be possible to edit the mail verification and instead not verify as the domain would be private and inaccessible to other users?

I’m really interested how much accessibility the forum would lose if emailing was removed, for example, verification emails is one, direct messages as well but as Stephen said, it identifies the user:

What other types of verification does Discourse provide other than email? Social logins is one but you still require some sort of email in the third-party application; IP addresses fly out of the window since https://www.vicimediainc.com/often-ip-addresses-change/#:~:text=Every%2014%20days%20there%20is,provisioning%20a%20new%20IP%20address occurs.

To summarise, what other types of verification for a user does Discourse provide?\

Thanks,
