I’ve seen this more than once. Why are some topics unpinned to me, even though they have the pinned icon? [image]

Under Other in your preferences you’ll see Automatically unpin topics when I reach the bottom. You can also change the default behaviour for all users in the site settings.

Automatically unpinned after reading?

Found it, thanks. What’s the purpose of this setting? If things are pinned, isn’t it the whole purpose that they stay at the top? I also noticed 2 similar settings in the All Site Settings: [image] What’s the difference?

automatically_unpin_topics defines whether you want this feature on. If on, it will add a checkbox in the user’s preference to override this behavior. (Preferences → Interface → Other): [image] default_topics_automatic_unpin sets the default value for that user’s option. I agree that the descri…

[صورة] alltiagocom: If things are pinned, isn’t it the whole purpose that they stay at the top? There might be cases where it could be useful, but most of the time there’s no point for a pinned topic to stay visible all the time if we have read it and the information it provides was registere…

[صورة] alltiagocom: Unless there’s a way to create categories for bookmarks to keep the organize? Or folders? There is no way to do this. Only a search field. [A screenshot of the Discourse app on a mobile device, showing a message and bookmark interface. (Captioned by AI)] I encourage you…

Now I think about it, you can set a custom title on your bookmarks. So you can put a keyword inside that will help organize them through the bookmark search feature.
