I’ve seen this more than once. Why are some topics unpinned to me, even though they have the pinned icon? [image]

Automatically unpinned after reading?

Found it, thanks. What’s the purpose of this setting? If things are pinned, isn’t it the whole purpose that they stay at the top? I also noticed 2 similar settings in the All Site Settings: [image] What’s the difference?

automatically_unpin_topics defines whether you want this feature on. If on, it will add a checkbox in the user’s preference to override this behavior. (Preferences → Interface → Other): [image] default_topics_automatic_unpin sets the default value for that user’s option. I agree that the descri…

Under Other in your preferences you’ll see Automatically unpin topics when I reach the bottom. You can also change the default behaviour for all users in the site settings.
