I use https://forum.typst.app . I can bookmark an OP post, and flag it. But if I do both, then the bookmark state resets. As a result, when trying to bookmark again, it gives an error that I can’t bookmark the post twice. Reloading the page restores the correct bookmark icon state.

You can go to /admin to see the current Discourse version. Your forum seems to be on 3.3.2, through a quick inspect of the page. You’ll need to update it. The current version is 3.4.3 for stable and 3.5.0beta3 for tests-passed.
