I use https://forum.typst.app. I can bookmark an OP post, and flag it. But if I do both, then the bookmark state resets. As a result, when trying to bookmark again, it gives an error that I can’t bookmark the post twice. Reloading the page restores the correct bookmark icon state.
I cannot repro on try.discourse.org. I have:
- created a topic
- boomarked the topic post
- flagged the topic post as ‘Off-topic’
- bookmark icon does not reset
Different versions then? How do I get the version?
It looks like I also can’t reproduce that with that instance…
You can go to /admin
to see the current Discourse version.
Your forum seems to be on 3.3.2, through a quick inspect of the page. You’ll need to update it. The current version is 3.4.3 for stable and 3.5.0beta3 for tests-passed.
No, https://forum.typst.app/admin.
But like I said, I believe your forum needs updating.
Either way, the page does not exist and does not show any version.
curl -sI https://forum.typst.app/admin | rg status
status: 404 Not Found
Are you an admin? If not, then you cannot access the page. You will have to ask your Admin to update it.
Because this bug does not seem to happen on recent versions of Discourse as indicated by try.discourse.org, perhaps it is caused by a bug in an older version. Hence, I suggested updating the forum.
If I was an admin, I would’ve known what version it is.
Is there some unique visual feature missing that you identified it as 3.3.2?
I inspected the page to find that out.
This was found on the site:
