I’m agree with the OP, I hid a few selectors on my self-hosted instance with CSS. It’s kinda easy to do but not solve all the issue.
The same applies to the overall user profile (horizontal scrolling, repeated icons, plenty of options visible), but I remember some core team member telling us they are working on this
