Just wanted to note, that I have confirmed that spam complaints for AWS SES are sent from complaints@email-abuse.amazonses.com to the ‘Reply by email address’ (in Discourse settings) and are treated as hard bounces by Discourse currently via the standard VERP configuration (without SNS webhooks).
