The discussion revolves around an issue with post counts on the Discourse platform, specifically related to whispers. jcoates reported that post counts above user avatars disappear when whispers are present in a topic, and zogstrip looked into the issue.
However, zogstrip discovered that the issue wasn’t a bug, but rather a feature that only shows post counts when they’re > 2. cpradio pointed out another issue with whispers being exposed via the “Filter” option on a user’s usercard and a missing post count on a user’s card.
zogstrip acknowledged the issue with the post count on the user card and fixed it, as well as the leak on the user card in a subsequent commit zogstrip.

I noticed the fix breaks the numbers of posts above each user’s avatar. They appear with no numbers whenever there is a whisper present in the topic. When no whisper exists the numbers appear at the upper right corner of the avatar as before.
Is there an easy fix for this? I doubt anyone would mind this being left as a known issue if not. Again looks pretty good.
