so far, when you reply per mail and precede words with the #, they will be converted to links like #feature if it is a category, but this does not work for (already existing) tags.
It would be nice, if an algorithm would check, if such a hashed word is not a category, if is a #tag and link it in case accordingly.
That is good to know, but I guess most people are unaware of that suffix requirement. It is not like tags work on Facebook, Twitter or the Discourse webinterface.
