Add a sub-category to a sub-category

Hello,

Is there a way to add a sub-cat to a sub-cat ?
I mean a sub-cat with a ‘parent’ sub-category ?

It seems it’s not possible ?

Hello!

AFAIK, there are only categories and subcategories. Sub-subcategories do not exist. Tags might be the best solution for that.

Generally speaking sub-sub-categories are not a recommended organizational structure. Tags are almost always the better option when you need additional classification beyond the single sub-category level. With that set, sub-sub-categories do exist and can be enabled using the steps in this post:

Taylor, in some cases (multiple business working groups within the same discourse instance) sub-subcategory capability would be much more preferable to tags.

There is a main common space, but each work group gets a category that has subs. With some subs, an extra sub is needed forcing a sub into a new master category which is inconvenient for managing/sorting the site’s structure…
