If a category is created while you are on a discourse forum, you won’t see the new category under the categories tab unless you refresh the page.
Not sure if this is intended/ as a new proud owner of a discourse forum, just wanted to shout out that I love what you all have built!
I read this topic and thought “Huh, this won’t be an issue.” Minutes later I am wondering how people are posting in uncategorized. Turns out I needed to refresh to see a new category created by another site admin.
Sounds like a Discourse.request_refresh! after creating a category would work?
