AI doesn’t respond when mentioned in reply to a post

If I mention AI when replying to a topic, it answers. When I reply to a post, it doesn’t react. Nothing in error log.

So is this

  • by design
  • a known limitation
  • a bug

I asked what AI itself thinks, but… I know, that was too difficult question, but it tried anyway :grin:

Could you point out an example of it not working properly?

I assume you have the LLM configured and enabled for AI Bot and have checked that the specific persona is mentionable

Well, it didn’t work on my forum about two weeks ago. AFAIK I couldn’t try here, because I don’t have rights to use AI.

But let’s try.

Well, color of that bot tells it doesn’t want to talk here :rofl:

But I tried in my forum. AI bot doesn’t answer if mentioned on reply to a post. If it is mentioned in reply to topic (please, you can change right preposition, because I just can’t those small buggers) it answers.

So nothing has changed and expectation is a mentionable bot persona will answer everytime it is mentioned (of course, if an user has rights to do it etc.)

I count this as a bug. But everytime when I’m not sure I use Support.
