Akismet key for discourse

Just a very starter question for Akismet. It says all over that it’s a spam protection for Wordpress.
Which made me doubt if I am at the right place for logging in and generating the API for creating API for a Non-wordpress or Ruby website. → www.akismet.com.

Or there is some other extension / subdomain / website for getting the akismet key for Discourse.
Can somebody please clarify ?

want to present it as limited to WordPress, when it can be
used for other platforms ?

Akismet started out as a Wordpress plugin, it’s owned by Automattic who also offer Wordpress.com.
They do not offer end user solutions for other platforms, those are built by third parties using their API.

They’re not listing Discourse in their known supported platforms list by the way. Guessed they missed that?
