(Android) pasting with the keyboard's clipboard in code block returns only the first line

How to replicate (Everything is done with the new composer)

  1. Create a code block, a preformatted text with nothing on it
  1. Copy and paste the text using the keyboard’s clipboard function :clipboard: (In this example using Google Keyboard, haven’t tested on others)

Expected behaviour

  • If you use the Android paste function, press and hold, then it will paste the full text with no issues

Thanks for reporting!

I can reproduce something similar around hard line breaks munging in code blocks.

Given the following text:

Hello
world

Hello

World

Copy and place into code block:

Helloworld

Hello

World

So it looks like hard line breaks are not being preserved. Perhaps there is a similar case in Android paste.
