Can I restrict users to reply at most once in the topics in a certain category?

I am quite new. I would like to restrict users to reply at most once in the topics in a certain category. I don’t know if there is a plugin or a feature that can achieve this. One way that I think can go is to hide the reply button once a user has already replied. But I don’t know how to write the css code. Or anyone has a better idea to achieve this? Thank you!

There is this setting but you would need to approve replies. This is in Category\settings

Slow mode might restrict it by minutes between posts. But not sure if this affects by last post or last post by x user.

This post may help with part of the css… You just need to add something that checks if user has posted/replied once.

Your use case can be achieved with CSS.
