Can someone help me out and set up my website?
I am building a community based news website with a webshop. For this I want to use WP for the main website (news and pages) and possibly WooCommerce (for webshop), together with doscourse (for forum community). My forum is set up and installed on a VPS (forum.mydomain.nl).
I want a single system for user account and login. I prefer discourse to be the profider and wp to be the client (if possible) as I dont want to give up any account managing tools in discourse.
I want the news articles posted on the main website to be posted in discourse in the right categories accordingly and the comments shown under the news articles on the main website should be pulled from discourse.
Now I have managed to get this last part running with WP Discourse, but am struggling to set up the single sign on function properly. (when discourse enabled, the user gets page not found whenever clicking login.
Is there anyone who can guide me or help me out?
I did read many posts here on discourse regarding setting this up, but am a total noob and dont understand the technical language or the logic behind some of the stuff (like how do I know what a end point is or what discourseconnect url is)
Also I want an aibot/aipersona who can talk in topics whenever tagged, if this even exists. So my members can ask the ai about sertain discussions or issues, etc.
Obviously I am willing to pay for this service. I spent over 3 days trying to figure this all out, thats why I am posting this here
