Does anyone have an advice for contacting Digital Ocean support when you can’t log in–and they never reply when you use their “Can’t log in/Not getting the code” contact form? (I’ve tried twice in two months. No 2FA codes ever arrive. No response from DO Support.)
Sorry for posting this here, but I’m desperate. We missed enough updates to require SSH, Digital Ocean isn’t sending me the 2FA code to complete the login, and they apparently aren’t monitoring their backup channels.
Hey Brian. You don’t want to upgrade on that server. Your OS is years out of date and I’m pretty sure doesn’t have a docker version that’s compatible with current Discourse. If you try to upgrade you’ll almost certainly break things.
Also, you need to do PostgreSQL 15 update and there isn’t space on your drive to do that.
I still have SSH access to your server. Worst case, I can add your key to the server and give you access that way. You could then create a new Digital Ocean account and migrate from the old droplet to the new one.
If you’ll email me an ssh key I’ll be happy to add it to your existing droplet.
