Discourse merge of two instances causes Search Results inconsistencies

I have migrated from Discourse to Discourse (merged) two instances.

Issue:

  • when using search and sorting in order of “most recent” it’s listing the newly imported posts as if they were the most recent even though timestamps are way older (e.g. with sort search results set to show most recent first, I gave 2015 posts first before 2024 ones).

Somehow the instance is considering the newly imported topics/posts to be more recent.

Does perhaps a healthy dose of resetting bump dates help?

How can i perform that in bulk? We’re taking 1.5 million publications

Looks like you could bulk-select for it:

Though a rake task or something would probably be much easier if one exists.
