Discourse stopped working on Raspberry Pi 4

Hey,

So I have been running Discourse for a long time without any trouble, but I experienced slowness and some issues with the Discourse yesterday while trying to update, when tried to update it, there was no output of the update. I thought to myself, okay no worries, let me just stop the container and restart, and decided to also rebuild it just in case.

The build has been completed and the container started successfully, but I don’t see any data coming out of it. I am using Nginx Socket File by the way.

I have some logs for you guys, but from what I can tell, the containers work great, and the Nginx is up and running too.

I have plenty of disk space and free memory as well. I am running Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB) but I am not using SD Card, so don’t worry, it’s a SATA (M2) SSD.

How could I debug this any further?

The socket file somewhat limits me, because I wanted to curl http://localhost, but I can’t because its just a socket.

cd /var/discourse
./launcher enter app
curl -v localhost

This is what I tried, but connection refused, because its trying on port 80… since its a socket file, there will be nothing on port 80

As you can see it seems to be even accessible from the Raspberry nondocker system as well.

I know this is not your area, but do you have any idea, why would the Discourse load with modified hosts file on my Windows and without it, it does not load?

It would sound like my domain or the DNS is not responding, but I highly doubt, because I can traceroute and ping it from the outside…

If it works when changing the hosts file it’s probably DNS. Maybe a wrong AAAA entry and a working A entry will make it inconsistent to reproduce?

Others domains are pointing to it as well and they are OK.
Even the root domain brohosting.eu works fine on it. That’s why I have strange feelings.
