Is there a way to send an e-mail to a customer regarding specific category or sub category?
For example, I would like to know if there is any new post under the features section of community.

I am not entirely following what you are saying here.
You can set a category to “subscribe to first post” using the bell (notifications) icon on the right side when viewing a category like so:

Thank you for the screenshots. Basically I am new to community and am exploring the features. I was not able to find the feature, so dropped the query here.
