According to the link below, FB email address are already authenticated. I had previously thought that fb accounts didnt require email address to be authenticated, but realized today that this isnt the case.
Might be helpful to consider for the future to smooth this onboarding for fb users. Though it currently represents a low % for us, not sure what its like in other communities
This is the way it already works. If we get the email from Facebook it is considered validated. I am not sure what you are talking about here.
Some Facebook accounts are marked (by Facebook, not us) as having invalid emails or they will refuse to provide email for privacy reasons, again, very specific to that account.
Thx, that is what I had thought. i saw a few users who had used fb signin but weren’t confirmed. Perhaps they entered their email manually.
