Ho seguito il tutorial su 🇨🇳 Detailed installation guide + control panel | 超级详细教学安装discourse+控制面板 per distribuire Discourse su un server cloud. Ho installato Docker e avviato il container come indicato. Tuttavia, dopo aver completato la configurazione, durante la fase di build dell’app (dove i miei log vengono interrotti), la connessione SSH al server diventa non responsiva. Lo stato del server mostra il 100% di lettura del disco e si blocca. Posso solo riavviarlo dal pannello di controllo. Qualcuno sa come risolvere questo problema?

il mio server ha 2 core logici e 2 GB di RAM, e ho abilitato 4 GB di swap.

nella build precedente, non ho salvato il log completo ma ho ottenuto questo

È possibile che tu stia scambiando su un disco remoto, uno storage collegato in rete, e questo è noto per essere un problema. Sarà molto lento. Forse causa un timeout e questo è il problema. Forse c’è un modo per regolare il timeout.

(Il timeout di sistema predefinito è di 90 secondi, almeno in alcune versioni di systemd, quindi questo si adatta abbastanza bene).
Potresti provare a risolvere questo problema aumentando TimeoutStartSec nell’unità systemd di postgresql (o anche globalmente), il che forse nasconde solo il problema finché il prossimo servizio improvvisamente non si avvia più.
Modifica: se è così, allora questo consiglio potrebbe essere utile:

come ho detto in precedenza, sto usando un server cloud. Infatti, il pannello di controllo del server cloud fornisce un monitoraggio in tempo reale dello stato del server e mi sono reso conto del 100% di lettura del disco solo dopo che il server si è bloccato in base ai dati del pannello di controllo. Durante l’uso normale, di solito apro un altro terminale ed eseguo top. Prima del crash, potevo vedere la cpu wa raggiungere 90 o superiore in top.
per quanto riguarda il disco… non sono sicuro di come il provider di servizi cloud colleghi i propri dischi. Nel pannello di controllo, ho osservato che il disco stava funzionando a pieno regime con una lettura di circa 2500 IOPS.
inoltre, poiché tutti i miei servizi sono in esecuzione sul disco di sistema, non penso che la latenza debba essere così alta da causare timeout, immagino? Dopotutto, il sistema stesso non può tollerare una latenza estremamente elevata.

Ho notato che sembra tu stia cercando contenuti relativi a OOM nei log? Mi sono riavviato dall’ultimo crash, quindi non sono sicuro se ci sarebbero registrazioni della precedente esecuzione nei log?

Non l’avevo mai sentito prima, sono stato in grado di ricostruire la console con un server con 1 GB di RAM, ma alcuni tentativi di aggiornamento UX sono falliti.
Aggiungere uno swap per la memoria invece della RAM potrebbe aiutare.
La versione attuale più recente di Discourse potrebbe richiedere più memoria rispetto a quelle precedenti per funzionare bene, poiché hanno scritto che ci sono state alcune/molte modifiche significative recenti al sistema principale.
Installare una versione precedente di Discourse mi sembra fattibile temporaneamente… ma questo risolverà effettivamente il mio problema attuale? Sto usando il Simple Application Server di Aliyun e posso aggiornare la mia configurazione a 4 GB di RAM. Tuttavia, a causa dell’economicità del pacchetto, anche la mia configurazione di rete verrebbe aggiornata, cosa di cui non ho bisogno, soprattutto considerando il prezzo quasi raddoppiato. Inoltre, questo server non supporta il downgrade della configurazione dopo il backup dei dati, quindi potrei essere in grado di utilizzare solo una configurazione con 2 core e 2 GB di RAM. In alternativa, potrei aprire temporaneamente un server ad alta configurazione su base non mensile per completare la build, e poi c’è un modo per caricare l’intera app costruita da qualche parte, e poi scaricarla ed eseguirla direttamente sul mio server? Sarebbe fattibile se garantissi che l’ambiente software di sistema sia identico? Non ho molta comprensione di Docker e del processo di build, quindi se esiste una soluzione simile che funziona, apprezzerei se qualcuno potesse chiarire.

Attualmente ho un server con 2 core, 2 GB di RAM, un disco di sistema ESSD da 60 GB, 2 TB di traffico e una larghezza di banda di picco di 30 Mbps, incluso un IP pubblico. Il costo mensile è di 34 RMB (circa 4,78 USD), che ritengo molto economico.
Dato il suo prezzo estremamente basso, devo tollerare gli svantaggi di non poter modificare un elemento di configurazione come pacchetto e di non poter effettuare il downgrade dopo l’aggiornamento

Aspetta un momento… Mi sono reso conto improvvisamente che sto usando VSCode per connettermi al server e ho impostato direttamente la directory principale ‘/’ come spazio di lavoro. VSCode mi ha avvertito che per spazi di lavoro di grandi dimensioni potrebbe non essere in grado di tenere traccia delle modifiche ai file, ma suppongo che consumi comunque alcune risorse di IO e disco, giusto…? Proverò a costruire senza aprire lo spazio di lavoro, connettendomi solo tramite il terminale. Non aumenterò lo swap per ora per confermare se questo è il problema.
Non credo sia possibile, a meno che qualcuno non abbia salvato copie delle versioni precedenti da utilizzare per nuove installazioni.

- esaurimento del tempo a causa di progressi lenti
È un peccato che il tuo provider non consenta aumenti e diminuzioni di RAM.
È vero che l’installazione iniziale e gli aggiornamenti successivi che richiedono ricostruzioni ogni mese o due, richiedono più memoria del precedente. Ma
memoria = RAM + swap
quindi l’aggiunta di swap dovrebbe avere successo, a condizione che non ci sia pressione temporale.
Hai molto spazio su disco. Ti consiglio di aggiungere un secondo e un terzo file di swap. Vedi le istruzioni qui, modificate per creare nuovi file
Hai già /swapfile, quindi esegui questi comandi con /swapfile.1 e /swapfile.2 invece

Grazie mille a tutti! Il problema è stato risolto e il bootstrap è andato a buon fine! Il problema era effettivamente con VSCode, forse perché ho impostato direttamente la directory principale come area di lavoro e VSCode stava cercando di monitorare tutte le modifiche ai file durante il processo di installazione? Questa è la mia ipotesi. In precedenza, ero anche perplesso perché durante il crash, le letture del disco raggiungevano il picco mentre le scritture erano basse. Se fosse dovuto a un uso intensivo dello swap, le scritture dovrebbero essere state più alte. Ora sembra che fosse perché VSCode leggeva continuamente le modifiche ai file. Dato che ho apportato troppe modifiche al sistema, ho resettato il mio server cloud e ho intenzione di ricominciare l’installazione da capo. Grazie a tutti coloro che mi hanno aiutato! È stata tutta colpa mia.
Ora ho costruito con successo l’app e l’utilizzo massimo della memoria durante la build è stato di 2 GB di RAM + circa 2 GB di swap. Ci sono stati alcuni rallentamenti nella connessione SSH durante la build, ma nessuna disconnessione, e nel complesso è stata relativamente veloce. Durante l’uso massimo dello swap, ha effettivamente raggiunto il limite massimo di velocità di lettura del mio ESSD, ma è stato molto breve e non ha causato un impatto significativo.
