Frontend Nomenclature changeability and supporting case-sensitive tagging

Hello!
I am wondering how feasible it is to change the nomenclature for categories, topic, etc.. on the frontend to sync the terminology with our other platform without breaking discourses innate functionalities. I.e on the frontend how straight forward is it to rename different parts of discourses infrastructure for user-facing components?

I am also wondering, how feasible it would be to support case-sensitive tagging for topics. For instance, when tagging a topic with chemical compounds i.e “GaN” (Gallium Nitride), it is crucial to have the case sensitivity there, “gan” as a tag will not be recognizable as Gallium Nitride to an end user.

I think that’s possible when you disable the Force lowercase tags site setting

You can Customize text in Discourse in the admin interface. But for replacing a common term I’d use Globally replace translations
