Just to report that I reinstalled with ./launcher rebuild app and it works! The full name field is back on the registration form. Thanks for the quick fix!

hello i am having the same issue , if i disable require login the full name on registration it shows but if i keep it enable its not showing
regarding on this, if i run this command will delete everything on my forum ??

No, that will pull in updates from the discourse/discourse repository. It’s the standard way to pull Discourse updates, and the data in your instance will remain there, it does not get destroyed. (Note that depending on your container setup, the site might be inaccessible during the update.)

Yes, so the first link there points to a commit from 4 days ago, before Osama’s fix. After you update, the issue should be fixed for you.

yes ! i confirm after running the command ./launcher rebuild app now the full name is showing on the registration/login form !!
the funny part though is that as i am trial testing this with a few members (clients that they help me to beta test discourse) is that i have ask a couple of them about the full name on the registration form and they were sceptical to ask them or not !!

let me ask you something else, right now i have setup on the registration the user to input their name, and on my general settings i have set to not show to public the users real names that they have input during the registration for better privacy, BUT me as Admin i need to know who is who and as it is right now even me as an Administrator i can not see the real name of this demo user i create just before !! why i am not able to see his real name ??
