Hide edits icon for members?

I know this has been brought up before, but as a starting forum, we are constantly revising the rules, as well as our guidelines and with these edit icons, it kinda looks unprofessional. To prevent this, we have to delete the whole thing and post it again, which can be quite hectic.

We would really want to have it enabled for staff members only. Or at least keep the pencil and not show the number of edits.

You can uncheck the setting edit history visible to public, only staff will see the pencil

Yeah, it’s been unchecked. I did not mean the edit history, but the edit pencil. It just makes the guidelines topics look unprofessional and we need to update them from time to time.

You can use some css customization to hide it

.topic-body .post-info.edits {
    display: none;
}

You’re a lifesaver. Literally went through all similar discussions and people said it wasn’t possible! Thank you very much!
