To complement @merefield response, blog.discourse.org is a Ghost blog on Ghost official hosting service and using Embed Discourse comments on another website via Javascript for the Discourse integration.
Previously it was a WordPress blog, which was migrated to Jekyll and then to Ghost. All three had great integration story with Discourse.
