Tried looking through the category settings but couldn’t seem to find anything.
I have a section where I would prefer if users had a minimum of at least 10 posts to be able to create a topic in that section. Is there a way to set a limit on who can create topics based on post count depending on the category?
There’s not a way to specifically set that threshold on the category, but you could use trust levels to do something similar.
So for example, you could change the site setting tl2 requires topic reply count to 10, and then in your category’s settings you could restrict topic creation to Trust Level 2 or higher.
