I am blind and using NVDA 2024.3 on Windows 11 with Firefox 131.0.
My issue is that on all websites using Discourse, the automatic scrolling in the topic view doesn’t work. I can only see 30 topics, and the view doesn’t update with older topics when I reach the end of the table.
This issue does not occur in Chromium-based browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Steps to reproduce:
- Ensure that you are using the latest version of NVDA, in my case 2024.3.
- Ensure that Firefox 131.0 x64 is installed.
- Navigate to any topic view, for example: Topics tagged accessibility.
- Use NVDA to navigate through the table.
Actual behavior:
I can only see 30 topics. When I focus on the 31st row in the table (i.e., the 30th topic), the page does not scroll down, and I cannot view the 31st topic and beyond. However, in Chrome and Edge, the automatic scrolling works, and I can access topic 31 and beyond.
