I need to add a couple of new users to my forum who need to have limited access to the content, as they are guests who are participating in a single group on the forum, and they should not have access to the same content of our regular members.
Is there a way to assign users to only be able to see one category or group, without having to lock down all of the other categories/groups/topics as private?
Unfortunately not, if you want to limit access to all other content you have to lock it down. So you’ll have to remove everyone from the relevant categories, and then manage permissions with two separate groups instead… one for regulars and the other for your limited access members.
