I just noticed this on the Agenda community forum:
As you can see this user posted 21hrs ago. So shouldn’t that notice disappear? Or is it only updated once every 24hrs or so?

That notice is for that particular post. In other words, the user’s last post before that one was 9 months ago. So, it’s accurate.
Post notices don’t disappear, they’re just deemphasized - the background color is removed - after a configurable amount of time that you can control with the old_post_notice_days site setting.
