I want to users to private message on my platform and not use discourses’. Is there a way to remove/change the “Message” button found in user profile cards as well as user profile pages? see screenshots.
You can disable the enable personal messages site setting to prevent regular users from sending personal messages. Doing that will remove the Message button that’s found on the profile card and the profile page for regular users. Disabling that setting will not prevent staff members from sending PMs to users though.
