Hi there. I can’t seem to remove the ‘About the xxx xxx category’ topic in any of my categories?

These hold the category description for each category so they can’t be removed.

What you can do is
- unpin the topic
- close the topic
- make unlisted
It will hide the topic to the users and after a few weeks, it will be (one of) the last topic of the category and you’ll forget about it.
You will still be able to edit the category description
