Replies should be able to utilize "Notify"

I asked for it, but very obliquely and ineffectively within the context of asking for this to apply to groups as well.

Notify group using share>notify feature

I was just about to post this as a #feature request too. It would be very helpful so as to push out a notification of a specific post of a topic without setting the whole group to watching for the Topic (via either a @mention or tag watching)\ At the moment my rather ugly workaround is to create a new topic with watch first post active for the relevant users and then moving it after a short while to the Topic that it should be living in.

The combination would be super helpful, as a way to more gently notify users / groups than the rather sledgehammer-like @mention (which forces people to watch the topic)

That is because it is buried down in the topic share setting at the bottom of the page. I think that most folk would try and share the topic by clicking on the button on the OP so would never see it. Certainly I only found it by accident a few months ago - and fell in love with it immediately!
