Reporting role (aka sub-admin)

As our team grows, we’re providing access to the reporting for colleagues that aren’t active on the forums, and thus are primarily on the platform to pull stats from various reports.

It’d be very useful if there was a non-admin level role that could still access the reporting functionalities, so that we are minimising the platform access surface area (least privileges possible).

If what you want is for these people to access some kind of reports then you could use the data explorer plugin to create a query that they need and give access to a group that you could add them to.

Apologies if you know this and really want the feature you describe.


I didn’t, but thanks for pointing that out!

However that approach would mean duplicating the built in reports, which seems a little inefficient.
