See results of a poll before its end

Dear Discourse community,

we have set up a poll and when we created it, we decided that the results should only be visible after the poll ends. However, now we would like to see the results sooner. Can this be changed afterwards?

I have searched through this forum and found diverse threads, and it seems at is not possible. I am giving it a last shot?

Does anyone know whether this can be changed and if yes, how?

Try it in a PM first :warning:

I had the same issue some days ago. What I did, was close it, take a quick screenshot, then open it again. Nothing will impact the votes AFAIK. But I recommend trying it with your staff team in a Pm first.

Unfortunately you can’t change anything now, as it doesn’t let you edit it after 5 minutes.

By the way, for future reference, you can set the result to be visible to staff on vote, so you can monitor the poll results. This will restrict other non staff users to see the results though.
