We are currently exploring the use of Discourse to create a user forum tailored for developers within a telecom domain’s technology ecosystem. It appears to be a promising fit!
Within our ecosystem, there are various services, and we are in the process of determining the most effective way to structure the forum. One obvious approach is to create a category for each service.
Additionally, we are interested in establishing a convenient method for linking any reported issues to our company’s internal backend bug trackers, which we prefer not to expose publicly. Are there any recommended best practices for accomplishing this? For instance, is it advisable to have a moderator initiate a new topic within a separate bug tracking category for each reported issue?
