Site text overwritten

Hi guys does site text get overwritten on updates? I made a load of changes last week but today they have all reverted on the front end. can still see the changes in the backend though?

It shouldn’t be overridden when you update.

Are there any errors in the browser developer console?

Also, can you tell us the exact version of Discourse you’re currently running? That’s also printed to the browser developer console.

I changed all the places it says topics and was working until recently

Even this bit has changed though in the backend its correct

Also all my meta names have reverted back. Yet there still in the backend. Weird thing is when i refresh the page it does 2 different variants in the tab.
