Skip votes for closed feature request while counting active votes

It is not possible to remove votes for closed features.

I support this, but it reduces the influence of long-term forum users on new features.
Votes for closed feature requests should not be counted.

Or better: Votes for implemented features should be rewarded, so maybe add two free votes for a vote for an implemented feature

When a topic you voted for is closed, the vote is returned.

As you can see, all in all I voted for more than 8 topics, but only 8 are open. The other votes were returned, so I was able to vote for other topics. https://meta.discourse.org/u/moin/activity/votes
