To reduce clutter, notifications of edits to posts, mentions, and linked posts can be stacked if it happens multiple times. There is already stacked notifications for likes, but this can be made to other types of notifications.
For instance: edit edit edit

becomes:
edit x3
I do agree with this as when Discourse forums that I am on do reorganizations, receiving edit notifications to moved posts does add up
In addition there could be an option to show detail as to what notifications were grouped.
