في يناير، قاموا بتحديث المفتاح tos_topic.body والكمية الهائلة من النصوص التي تحتويها الشروط.

بصبر، أخذت النص الأصلي (باللغة الإنجليزية)، والذي يمكنكم رؤيته هنا، وقمت بترجمته إلى الإسبانية هنا .

هذه الترجمة الأخيرة هي التي قمت بتحميلها إلى Transifex.

إذا أراد أي شخص إجراء تغييرات على الشروط والأحكام باللغة الإسبانية، يمكننا أولاً مناقشتها هنا، ثم نجري التعديلات على المستودع في github، ومن هناك ننقلها إلى Transifex.

من الصعب حقًا ترجمة كل هذا في Transifex.

In any case, the translation will only be useful for communities based in the US, since, typically, each country has its own laws and requirements for Terms and Conditions (TyC). In Spain, for example, they will need to be adapted to the new European policy regarding data protection that is about to be released.

Yes, thanks for the references @Apecengo. The point is that here we are not looking to create new TOS, but rather to translate what Discourse provides as the source (in English), do you understand?

Their TOS are for the U.S. If each user wants to modify them for the country where each forum resides, they can do so from the text customization options in the administration panel of each forum.

However, on this occasion, the goal is to translate the TOS that Discourse provides us.

From what I see, the Discourse team is working on something for the ToS:

It might be worth waiting a few days to see what it is, just in case we translate it and they release new ones. It’s a quite interesting topic. Let’s see how it progresses.

The new modification did not respect any of the previous terms.

I will now proceed to translate here (on GitHub), as the Transifex interface is very poor for very long texts like in this case.

Hello @SidV, I can help you by the end of the week. We just need to coordinate how the push notifications will work and which parts of the text should not be translated twice.

Hi Mariano, I doubt we are both translating at the same time, but if you’d like, you can start with the bottom part of the terms.

I just logged in; if I see any PR, I always update it before I start working.

I finished the terms :slight_smile:

If anyone wants to review, I did it in two parts because they were too long. Commit 1 and Commit 2.

On Transifex, it’s impossible to maintain such a large text.

I’m going to ask the Discourse team if they won’t let me maintain the terms via GitHub.
