When I was a lurker, I got this automated PM:

How can I implement a PM like this? I adjusted the trust level 1 to read time and clicked send message to notify, but when I go into settings and email templates, I can’t see any option for this. I need to be able to edit it to be less cheery!

Hi there!

You can customize any text in your site. To do this, go into Admin > Customize > Text and search for this message and edit it that way.
