Trying to change a reaction to just a like causes it to be removed entirely

I assume this is tied to the new reactions counting as likes, reproduction steps:

  1. Add any reaction that counts as a like
  2. Change your reaction to a like
  3. Note that your reaction is entirely removed

Thanks for the report.

No ETA but Im working on refactoring reactions, so that might be a side effect fix. No plan to spend time on reactions before this is done.

I can’t reproduce this — @Firepup650 can you try your steps again and let me know if you’re still seeing this behavior? If not, I’ll go ahead and close this.

Thanks for the video, I can see it now too. I don’t know if I wasn’t waiting long enough when I tested before, or why I didn’t see it then — but I can definitely see it now.
