Is there a way I can let a group of people see the admin settings, but not let them change them?
As my moderators and I get used to the many moderation controls, they have suggestions about how to change settings, but they can’t see the current settings. It would be great if they could read them to help decide what they should be.
No it is not possible to do this as far as I’m aware. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Admin: Only admin can change a site setting.
Moderator: manage members and posts.
What I do is simply take screenshots of the settings we’re discussing. They don’t need active access, just to know what they are. I also have an expert discourse administrator (runs other installations) as a mod on staff who can chime in, which helps.
